Due an urgent repair work on a transmission pipeline from Ambatale to Kolonnawa, a 20 hour water cut from tomorrow morning, the National Water Supply & Drainage Board (NWSDB) said.
They said the water supply will be interrupted from 9.00 am tomorrow until 5.00 am on Sunday (7).
Accordingly, Kolonnawa Urban Council area, Rajagiriya, Moragasmulla, Obesekerapura, Bandaranayakapura, Nawala, Koswatta, main road and all connected by roads from Rajagiriya up to Nawala Open University will be without water supply, the NWSDB said.
The NWSDB regretted any inconvenience likely to be caused to the consumers as a result of the water cut and requested them to kindly stock sufficient water. (Chaturanga Samarawickrama)
