17 STF personnel injured in accident

Seventeen Special Task Force (STF) personnel were hospitalised following an accident at the Palugaswewa Junction in Kantale this morning, police said.

They said the accident occurred when the bus carrying the STF personnel had attempted to overtake a tipper.

The injured were admitted to the Kantale Hospital. Kantale Police are investigating. (LSP)
