LG nominations, 450 rejected

The Election Department says 1597 nominations which were received for the 301 Local Government Councils were accepted , while 450 nominations were rejected.  A total number of 2047 nominations were received by the Department of Election for the 2011 Local Government elections, the Government Information Department announced.
