‘12 Years a Slave’ wins Oscar for Best Picture

The Movie ‘12 Years a Slave’ won the Oscar for the Best Picture at the 86th Annual Academy Awards on Sunday night at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, while Alfonso Cuarón won the award for Best Director in ‘Gravity’.
The Best Actress award went to Cate Blanchett for ‘Blue Jasmine’ and Best Actor’s award went to Matthew McConaughey in ‘Dallas Buyers Club’.
Jared Leto won the award as Best Supporting Actor for his role as a transgender AIDS patient in ‘Dallas Buyers Club’ and Lupita Nyong'o won the award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role in the Movie ‘12 Years a Slave’.
The animated Movie ‘Frozen’ bagged the award for Best Animated Feature and its song ‘Let it go’ won the award for Best Original Song.
