Twelve COVID-19 positive persons were identified from the Warakapola Divisional Secretariat area, Warakapola PHI Hemantha Kumara said.
He said one of them was a resident of Othnapitiya in Udukumbura and had taken the controversial anti-COVID-19 syrup produced by Ayurvedic practitioner Dhammika Bandara from Kegalle.
