Thank you DM for this interview. Murali comes across as a genuine Sri Lankan first and a Tamil second. If only this attitude spreads to all our communities we will regain our place as one of the most hospitable of countries we once were.

What you have written exactly wright. Strive to divelop individually then country will divelop automatically. Both commiunities in srilanka must realize that.

It's yes it's unfair - we don't have any one to talk so if some one come to talk that's unfair..! is in it?

Thank you Murali. Great focus on peace and getting communities together. Let's let our next generation live without violence. We have seen enough. Diaspora can come and help to give basic needs and improve the lives of people in North and East. We should not see anymore blood on the streets and sidewalks just because some outsiders want it.
Both sides can easily take gun and bombs and start it all over again. Poor and innocent people will die and the Diapora and NGOs will make more money and have a party saying they are doing humanitarian work. Arms dealers, news papers, funeral direcors, medical suppliers will sell more and get richer. There will be more sensational and negative news for TV stations. Sri Lanka is a competitive country and can grow. We've got intelligent and cultured people.
You are a great son of Sri Lanka. Let's give Sri Lanka a chance to show what really it is capable of being. Great thoughts Murali. We love you.

I have worked in the war torn area as a surgeon. I have seen the war to be a useless one for both sides. As Murali does I also treat everyone equally. Talking alone is useless , you must show it by your work.
