Officials from the Wildlife Department in Hikkaduwa today transferred the carcass of an antelope to the Department’s veterinary unit for an autopsy. Area residents said the antelope had become entangled in a fence erected around a cinnamon plantation.

Why did the Wildlife Conservation dept only come to the scene after the deer died? did no one inform them before that the deer was stuck?everyone acts so slow in this country.
