Galadari shines at Culinary Art 2013

Once again the Galadari Hotel adds yet another achievement to its crowning glory by shining bright at the recently concluded Culinary Art 2013, presented by the Chefs Guild of Lanka.

The hotel triumphed with 5 Gold medals, 7 silver medals and 12 Bronze medals spread across different categories. With a total of 24 recognitions to its credit the Galadari proudly held a special awards ceremony for its achievers at Culinary Art 2013 hosted by the General Manager, Sampath Siriwardena and its management team.

This special celebration was held at the hotel’s poolside on August 12. Here the award winners were treated to an evening of victory and celebration where special awards of appreciation were bestowed on the winners. The hotel chefs and staff members went all out to share the joy and pride of the victorious achievements made by the winners.

Appreciation awards were bestowed by the GM, Financial Controller Upali Perera and Thushantha Kariyawasam the Food and Beverage Manager of the Galadari Hotel.

Commenting on this significant achievement Executive Chef Imroze Salih said, “We are proud of this achievement which was made through many commitments and dedication. Nothing was achieved without facing our fair share of obstacles but however we finally came through victorious.”
