Royal College emerge under 15 and 19 carrom champs

Royal College, Colombo carrom team won the under-15 and 19 carrom championships of the All Island School Games 2014 conducted by the Ministry of Education.
 The carrom players from 84 all-island schools participated in the tournament. Dharmapala Vidyalaya,Pannipitiya won the championship of under-15 girls category and Mahamaya Balika, Nugegoda won under-19 girls championship .
 The All Island School Carrom Championship was won by Western Province as well.
 The chief guest for the event was K. Sathyapalan, the Assistant Director Sports, Education Department, North. The chief organizer of the tournament was Lalith Bandula, the assistant director sports, Colombo Zonal Education office. (SP)
