An unbeaten knock of 78 by Ahan Wickramasinghe and a four-wicket haul by Praveen Nimesh helped Colombo to record a massive 147-run win over Dambulla in their Under-19 Super Provincial Cricket Tournament encounter played at the Dambulla Stadium yesterday.
Colombo made a formidable 282 and in reply Dambulla were bowled out for 136 runs.
Meanwhile, a fine all-round performance by Chamindu Wickramasinghe helped Kandy record a close 33-run win over Galle in another match played at Pallekele.
At Dambulla (Colombo won by 147 runs)

At Pallekele (Kandy won by 33 runs)
Kandy: 252 in 47.1 overs (Chamindu Wickramasinghe 97, Avishka Tharindu 74, Rohan Sanjaya 22, Sandun Mendis 4/48, Amashi de Silva 3/32, Jitesh Wathsala 2/17)
Galle: 219 in 44.5 overs (Dunith Wellalage 44, Amashi de Silva 38, Chethaka Milanduwa 33, Pawan Ratnayake 21, Sandun Mendis 20, Raveen de Silva 27 n.o, Subhanu Rajapaksa 2/30, Chamindu Wickramasinghe 2/34, Ruvin Peiris 2/39, Rohan Sanjaya 2/49).
