St. Anthony’s College, Wattala reached 59 for three in reply to Maliyadeva’s modest first innings score of 146 runs in their Under-19 Inter-Schools Cricket Tournament encounter which began at Wattala yesterday.
Avishka Tharindu (3/23), Kaveesha Dulanja (2/21), Amitha Sandeepa (2/23) and Dinuk Vishal (2/31) shared the wickets for the Antonians.
Meanwhile, Christ the King College, Ja-ela were well set to build up a good first innings lead as they reached 132 for three after having bowled out Asoka MV, Colombo for a paltry 125 runs.
