A fine half century from Dasun Achira and a five-wicket haul by Nadun Kalhara helped Nalanda Boys’ School, Minuwangoda record a comfortable five-wicket win over Harischandra National School, Negombo in their Under-19 Inter-Schools Cricket Tournament encounter which concluded at Divulapitiya yesterday.


Harischandra NS: 101 and 156 (Lakshan Dissanayake 57, A. Kaushika 26, Adithya Fernando 21 n.o, Nadun Kalhara 5/34, Kaushika Lakshan 2/18, Kavindu Maduranga 2/48)
Nalanda Boys’ School: 122 and 136/5 (Dasun Achira 58, Nadun Kalhara 42, Pawan Edirisinghe 2/19, Lakshan Dissanayake 2/39).
