Trinity win by 60 runs

Trinity College continued their winning streak in the Inter-School Under-19 limited overs cricket encounter when they beat Gurukula College by 60 runs at the Asgiriya Stadium in Kandy yesterday.

Trinity put up a formidable 243 on the board with the help of fine half centuries by Umair Raizan (71) and Ranuda Somaratne (52). With this win Trinity booked their berth for the quarter-final encounter which will take place after the Sinhala and Tamil New year.
