Science, Zahira look for first win

Science College, Mount Lavinia and Zahira College will look to register their first victory this season when they clash in their Under-19 Inter-Schools League Rugby Tournament fixture at Mount Lavinia tomorrow (9).

Science College lost to St. Joseph’s College 14-20 in their opening match last week at Longden Place while Zahira suffered a 11-22 defeat at the hands of Trinity College at Maradana.

With both teams determined to get their first points on the board, a close contest could be expected in this game.

Zahira College : Tuan Thajudeen (Captain), Fazlath Fawmy, Nafees Naizer, M. Mirshan, Akmal Meedin, Mohammed Zakariya, I. S. L. Ferdinand, Dilshan Mannapperuma, Shamahil Soewito, Farhan Suhaib, Dilshan Vithakshana, Abdul Salam, Mohammed Malik, A. R. Abdeen, Rauff Sahid, Shameem Nassar.
