Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) on Tuesday interviewed three top candidates for the post of High Performance Analyst (HPA) for its Brain Centre, reliable sources told the Daily Mirror today.
The three candidates were, Sampath Hettiarachchige, Dulip Samarasekera and Prad Navaratnam.
The interview process, which lasted for about an hour was overseen by the Head Coach Mickey Arthur and the Batting Coach Grant Flower.
"All three candidates have vast experience and Sampath and Dulip Samarasekara already have experience of working at the SLC Brain Centre.”
“In fact, 45-year-old Dulip has played in three One Day Internationals and is a qualified coach. He was the Fielding Coach at the SSC until last season.”
Meanwhile, the third candidate Prad Navaratnam has worked as a HPA in Australia.
