Kandy Sports Club Centre Dhanushka Ranjan will very likely be out of the upcoming club rugby league tournament  as he is nursing a knee (ACL) injury. He was not part of the Asian Series 2019 and will also miss the Olympic Qualifiers in South Korea which will take place in South Korea this weekend.  One of the most feared Sevens players in Asian rugby, Ranjan is still recovering and could take 2 to 3 months to return which will likely rule him out of the league tournament.

Ranjan is very likely to be part of the Up Country outfit for the Clifford Cup knock-out tournament which will take place during March 2020.
