Nilfer returns to coach Kingswood

Former Sri Lanka Youth and Sri Lanka Sevens Head Coach Nilfer Ibrahim will be back in his hometown when he takes over the Kingswood rugby outfit as their Head Coach for 2019/2020 rugby season. Nilfer had a previous stint with Kingswood having also coached Trinity, Isipathana and Joes rugby outfits at school level.

Nilfer took the Randles Hill school to a league win in 2008 and under Neil Footie's consultant Nilfer took Trinity to President Trophy win in 2011 under the captaincy of Murad Ramzeen and later runner-up in 2012 (Kanil Seneviratne) and 2013 (Halique Wadood). At Isipathana he took them to three league titles and in 2014 they were triple champions. He also helped St. Joseph's  to a President Trophy win which was the first time they won the title in their history.
