Veteran golfer B. A. Sanjeewa once again got in to the ‘pole position’ from day one with a steady even par 71 on the opening day of the LECTRA Grand Prix 2019 August Edition which got underway at the Royal Colombo Golf Club Course yesterday.
Meanwhile, Chalitha Pushpika regained his form and returned a two over par 73 to share joint second place with another consistent veteran J. M. D. Indika.
Following in joint fourth place one stroke behind, is another veteran N. Amarapadma and the reigning Sri Lanka National Amateur champion Chanaka Perera. (MSA)
