Emerging Trophy semi-finals Colts CC takes lead on day two

Colts CC have already taken a first innings lead over SSC at the end of the second day’s play in their SLC Emerging Trophy Inter-Club Cricket Tournament semi-final encounter which continued at the FTZ Grounds in Katunayake yesterday.

Colts CC resuming from their overnight score of 61 for four made 185 runs in reply to SSC’s first innings score of 128.
SSC batting the second time were struggling at 130 for seven at one stage before a stubborn knock by Pasindu Sooriyabandara helped them end the day at 178 for eight. 
Meanwhile in the other semi-final played at the P. Sara Oval, Chilaw Marians CC batted the entire second day to reach 254 for nine against Army SC.
