The first Unofficial Test between Sri Lanka ‘A’ and Bangladesh ‘A’ which was scheduled to be held at the FTZ grounds in Katunayake, was abandoned without a ball being bowled due to the ongoing inclement weather.
Persistent showers were responsible for consecutive washouts on day 1 and day 2, and with conditions expected to be the same for the remaining two days, the match officials made the decision to abandon the game. The second Unofficial Test between the two sides will commence on September 30 at the Galle International Stadium.
