The ‘Bell’ party is in turmoil, they say.The party stalwarts would have come to terms with the defeat. But what has hurt them immeasurably is the defeat being so bad as to lose the deposit. Most of them say that the Prince himself should take the rap for the debacle.
Some party stalwarts who used their Facebook pages to campaign for the Prince are now using their pages to promote the demand that the Prince be replaced by gabby Kantha from
the NCP.
Meanwhile, some say that Kantha himself is behind this new campaign. In fact, Kantha had been highly critical in the past about the way the party was being run by the Prince and his loyalists. However, the man has gone into the silent mode these days, they say.
Most insiders express the fear that the calm maintained by Kantha could be the harbinger of a shake-up that could lead to a radical change in the party hierarchy.
