A new grouping is in the offing?

The Kalutara rebel, who returned to the Blue party with the intention of giving it a new lease of life, has now found to his disappointment that even the few Diyawanna members remaining in the party appear inclined to cast their lot with the Pohottuwa. 

So, the Kalutara rebel has embarked on a new mission: to round up the onetime colleagues who have already burnt bridges behind both Blue party and Pohottuwa.

After rounding up the onetime Blue party and Pohottuwa loyalists they are to be warned that a move is afoot to set up an army dictatorship at the expense of both Pohottuwa and the Blue party. 

Although the Kalutara rebel is to do the spadework to gather the former Blues and Pohottuwa loyalists, a Madam is to provide the leadership to the new grouping, they say. 

Several Blues who have already cast their lot with the Green party as well as some Green dissidents disillusioned with the party are expected to join the new grouping and the day when the members of the new grouping are to meet at a roundtable is not far away, say some sources.
