Diesel & Motor Engineering PLC (DIMO) together with Tata Motors announced the launch of a new mini truck – DIMO Batta XPRESS (Tata ACE Xpress).
The DIMO Batta XPRESS, with superior performance and enhanced looks, will offer superior performance and best-in-class driving experience to customers. With best-in-class power of 40HP and first in its category of turbocharged and intercooled engine, the DIMO Batta XPRESS is the most innovative cargo transport solution in Sri Lanka.

The DIMO Batta XPRESS has been designed and developed to maximise revenue of the transport operator by ensuring more trips and more load carrying capability with the lowest turnaround time, thereby meeting requirements of both, intra and intercity transportation. The vehicle is strategically designed to perform across all terrains and will be an all-rounder in this segment, helping the operators to elevate their business.

Launched at a price of Rs.10.75 lakhs, the DIMO Batta XPRESS is available in an attractive Metalic Champaign Gold colour. This power-packed vehicle will be available for sale across Sri Lanka at all the 41 DIMO branches.

The DIMO Batta XPRESS comes equipped with the technologically advanced new generation two cylinder 800 cc CDi engine, which delivers a power of 40 HP. The lightweight Aluminium engine and the smartly calibrated five-speed gearbox with cable shifting facilitate a smooth drive. The DIMO Batta XPRESS is the only mini truck in Sri Lanka to offer a turbocharger and Intercooler.

Superior braking features like LSPV and vacuum booster ensure best-in-class brake efficiency and low braking effort. The strong and rugged rear leaf-spring suspensions and Banjo axles make the DIMO Batta XPRESS the perfect vehicle for varied load and road conditions. Best-in-class speed of 95 KMPH ensures more trips due to the low turnaround time.
