Etihad to operate daily flights to Colombo

Etihad Airways, the national airline of United Arab Emirates is to opearte daily flights to Colombo from January 2, 2013 amidst growing demand, the airline said in a statement.
 
Currently the airline is operating four flights a week.
 
“India and Sri Lanka are important destinations for us due to strong local demand and growing traffic beyond Abu Dhabi to many key destinations across our global network" James Hogan, Etihad Airways’ President and Chief Executive Officer, said.
