Thursday 6th July 2015, Colombo: Colombo Fashion Week (CFW) Swim, presented by OLU Tropical Water, is preparing to host its highly-regarded sub-events at its upcoming swimwear showcase. The CFW Fashion+Food Day-Night Brunch Series (7 to 9 August) and a unique after-party – ‘The Morning After Party’ – (9 August) will run alongside an exciting line up of poolside runway shows and trend stores.

The CFW Fashion+Food Day-Night Brunch Series will be hosted by five partnering restaurants around Colombo; Café Français by Pourcel, Clique Cuisine, rare at Residence, Il Ponte at the Hilton Colombo and Kaema Sutra. Each restaurant will present a delectable summer brunch menu, adapted to their individual culinary identities and inspired by similar concepts hosted in fashion capitals around the world. The Day-Night Brunch Series will take place from 7 to 9 August. Reservations are to be made directly with the restaurants. Tickets for the Day-Night Brunch at Il Ponte (9 August only from 12 noon to 8 p.m.) can be purchased at cfwtickets.shopbox.lk and include entry to the official CFW Swim 2016 AfterParty – “The Morning After Party’.

‘The Morning After Party’ presented by CFW AfterParties will feature Colombo’s most renowned DJs and live performers including Muku, Wendell, Tanuja Perera, Bobo Shanti, Budz and Jam Lab. The chefs at Il Ponte have curated a light, refreshing array of brunch-staples and innovative dishes, complimented by fashion lifestyle-themed beverages. As the sun goes down, the pace of the party will evolve and span across the poolside and adjoining garden. ‘The Morning After Party’ will be the ultimate Fashion Week after-party.

Regarded as the backbone of the Sri Lankan fashion industry, CFW Swim 2016 serves as a foremost platform for Sri Lankan and international designers, and positions Sri Lanka as the swimwear hub of the world. CFW Swim 2016 will be held on 7 and 8 August at the Hilton Colombo Poolside and will showcase the latest trends and developments in swimwear.
