Transforming ourselves into a cohesive Sri Lanka

By VASUDEVA NANAYAKKARA, M.P. Minister of National Languages and Social Integration
Under the leadership of His Excellency Mahinda Rajapaksa, the foundation was laid for a strong public service to guarantee the rights of all Sri Lankans.
Every person needs to play a role in the process of social integration as we transform ourselves in to a cohesive Sri Lanka.  The well-being of the people of Sri Lanka will be ensured primarily by the State. However, the people need to take the responsibility as stakeholders to make it a success story.
Therefore I call on you to join hands with us in the work towards a “society for all” on this World day for celebrating Cultural Diversity and Dialogue for Development.
