State Minister of Media and Defence, Ruwan Wijewardene handed over a cash donation to veteran journalist and former deputy editor of the Sunday Lankadeepa, A.L.K. Perera on a concept of the Press Council that veteran journalists must be felicitated.

Sunday Lankadeepa Editor Ariyananda Dombagahawatta and Chairman of Press Council Bandula Wellala participated at this event.
