Proceedings of COPA open to media from today

The proceedings of the Committee on Public Accounts (COPA) will be open to media from today, Deputy Speaker Ananda Kumarasiri announced yesterday.  The inauguration of the opening will be held at the parliament complex with the participation of Speaker Karu Jayasuriya and Committee Chairman Lasantha Alagiyawanna. Accounts of the Department of Government Printing for the year 2015-2016 will be taken up for investigation today.  


Proceedings of the Committee on Public Enterprises (COPE) were also opened to media last week.
