The Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL) said banks and financial institutions should be informed before April 30 to obtain deferment credit facilities.
Several banks have informed customers seeking credit relief facilities provided by the government due to coronavirus, to send the request letter (In writing or through electronic media such as Email or Fax) to obtain the loan deferment by mentioning their loan details and the reasons for the inability to repay the loan.
