The newly constructed Neluwa Lankagama Road which has been damaged due to adverse weather will be renovated and completed soon, Minister of Highways Johnston Fernando said yesterday.
Minister Fernando who was on an inspection tour over the weekend said the road had not been destroyed by a landslide as suggested in social media.
“ This is a road which will be constructed under the program of constructing and renovating 100,000km of roads. We handed over the task of construction to the army based on the request made by President Gotabya Rajapaksa.,” the Minister said
