The Computer Emergency Readiness Team/Co-ordination Centre (CERT|CC) yesterday warned that a Google doc related phishing attack was circulating on WhatsApp.
While issuing a notice the CERT|CC said the phishing attack known as “Naya Sahana 2020” is circulating over WhatsApp claiming to have been issued by the Credit Information Bureau (CRIB).
The circulating fake Google doc collects details such as personal information and therefore, the CERT|CC requests people to avoid entering their personal information to the illegal Google doc.
The CRIB and FinCISRT also alerted that they had not made such a request from the people.
