Victoreen Marina Hassan, my wife, passed away peacefully on August 25, 2008. It’s an everlasting sadness that she is no longer here with me. Every day I think of her as if she is just near me. Her love towards me was constant and her devotion had no end. Victoreen placed gold on my finger and brought love like I have never known. She gave life to our children and to me; and these are reasons to go on. When I needed hope and inspiration, she was always strong. I hear footsteps slowly walking as I gently walk across the floor.
I thank my lucky stars that we found each other as we were so sincere and faithful. The special memories of Victoreen always bring a smile on my face. I walked beside her, loved and guided her as she was my one shining star, and forever I was wherever she was. Through the years our love grew stronger and stronger. Hand in hand we faced tomorrow with no fears, but now I am all alone and the love that kept my poor heart beating has been shattered by the closing of the door. She gave me something time can never take away from me; a light to guide me when its dark so I can see, so I’ll have you as my favourite memory. I try to sleep to kill my pain. When I wake up it’s still the same; shattered dreams has made me live with a lonely heart. The sweetest smile you gave me every morning and the loving arms that held me every night are precious memories time cannot erase. All I have are memories and a photo in a frame of a wonderful wife I was proud of.In secret I weep for all the strength given to me through the years. I also thank you for your time, love, patience, caring ways and sharing extended to us. “I STILL LOVE YOU”. Thank you for loving me and for being what you were.
Darling Vicky, our special years will not return, but the love within will make us walk together in a world full of memories.
Till we meet again
Sadly missed by your loving Husband
