D P Jayasinghe Piling selected main piling contractor for TATA-funded project

D P Jayasinghe Piling Company (PVT) LTD, a leading entity in the construction industry was selected as the main piling contractor for the TATA funded Slave Island Mixed Development Project carried out by TATA Housing Development Company Pvt Ltd.
This is the first time that TATA Housing has ventured into real estate development in Sri Lanka.
D P Jayasinghe Piling Company (PVT) LTD was named as the main piling contractor for the development and the piling for the first was initiated under the auspices of Upali Jayasinghe, Chairman of D P Jayasinghe Piling Company (PVT) LTD and representatives from the TATA Housing Development Company and Nilesh De Silva, Director and Chartered Architect of Kahawita De Silva & Associates and the local consultant of the project.
Piling construction of the first phase of the housing project is  currently underway. Commenting on the venture, Upali Jayasinghe, Chairman of D P Jayasinghe Piling Company (PVT) LTD said, “We are very happy that TATA Housing Development Company chose us as the main piling contractor and we hope to provide a personalized service while fulfilling our duties as a responsible corporate citizen.”
In keeping with the company policy of providing a customized service with state-of-the-art equipment, D P Jayasinghe Piling Company (PVT) LTD is utilizing the best available piling machines for the project, which includes latest German Bauer Machines.
