As the season to be jolly makes headway, the Eden Resort and Spa in Beruwela took the lead in preparing for the festive season with its annual cake mixing ceremony.

The traditional mixing of the Christmas cake is one of the most looked forward to events at the Eden Resort and Spa and this year too, the ceremony was held with much enthusiasm and excitement with the participation of an expert culinary crew as well as the management team of the hotel.

A large gathering of in-house guests, invitees and the staff of the Eden Resort and Spa adorned in chef hats, took part in the fun-filled cake mixing ceremony. Distinguished in-house guests, Michael and Susan Richards, Nicholas and Kathryn Burrows, Alan and Wendy Griffin from the United Kingdom, Zehnder Kurt, a longstanding repeat visitor from Switzerland, Maryam from Iran and the Balan family from Ukraine were among the guests who took part in the celebrations.

Browns Hotels and Resorts Group General Manager Eksath Wijeratne, Corporate Chef Deepal De Alwis and Resident Manager of the hotel Prasanna de Alwis were also present.

Beautifully positioned on the pristine coastline of Beruwela, the Eden Resort and Spa is an ultimate beach paradise that provides an out of the world experience to its customers to unwind in the southern coast of Sri Lanka.

Eden operates under Browns Hotels and Resorts which boasts a rich history of over 20 years in the hospitality industry of Sri Lanka.
