Kanchanamala Live in Concert on Sunday

‘Kanchanamala Live in Concert’ featuring popular actress and songstress Kanchanamala Mahawithana will be held at the Elphinstone Theatre, Colombo on November 10 at 6.30 pm with Prof. Patrick Rathnyake, Sanath Gunathilake, Pooja Umashankar, Dilantha Malagamuwa, Sumana Amarasinghe, Sriyani Amarasena and others participating as distinguished Guests.
Mike Fernando, Wajira Edirimanne, Saman Priyankara Nammunige, Ramesh, Ranga Soysa, Dilan Wijesinghe, Upasena Subasinghe, W. D. Amarawardana and others will join Kanchanamala in the duets. Popular actor Ruwan Wickremasinghe will be the compere.
The Army oriental band led by Major Jayarathne will back the music while the dance sequences will be choreographed by Nirmani Foundation guru Nihal Perera featuring Kanchanamala’s daughter Chamathka Veenavi Liyanage and others. Kanchanamala’s three-year-old granddaughter Aayu Waidurya will also be featured in a special song in the concert which will be open to the public free of charge.
