The Tamil National Alliance (TNA) said yesterday it would fully back any move to abolish the executive presidency even at this stage ahead of the election.
TNA MP for Jaffna District, M.A. Sumanthiran told Daily Mirror that this had been the policy of his party right throughout. “We will support any move to abolish the executive presidency. Numerous pledges have been given in the past to scrap it,” he said. (Kelum Bandara)

Thank you , that's the best decision to take to support whoever abolish the executive presidency. If not they will pay hell with the power. That's the motive of most candidates.

13th amendment was brought in under duress with India breathing down our necks! It should be abolished; is not beneficial for the progression of our country!
