No surprise all pending cases against all of you will be taking place before elections. this is to show the people how effecient our polie and judiciary.
Saman Friday, 10 July 2020 03:47 PM
Can any one file a real case against this useless AG?.
Warren Raed Friday, 10 July 2020 03:50 PM
No point. All a drama for elections. The case will go under the carpet and the minister will be free as a bird. No one trusts the AG and the legal system anymore. One law for the rich, one law for politicians and another law for the poor.

It was a simple accident.
Samson Friday, 10 July 2020 05:00 PM
It was not a major accident, why the fuss?
Kapila Senaratne Friday, 10 July 2020 05:05 PM
I believe our AG and judiciary biased and politically motivated. They should be roll models for the Nation and it’s countrymen.
Kapila Senaratne Friday, 10 July 2020 05:13 PM
The wordings should be changed to Rash or Negligent. Otherwise both means the same. You can’t charge someone for one crime with two phrasing.

While I sympathize with the "aggrieved party" one must also bear in mind that: 1. The accident was caused by the fault of the motorcyclist - He rode a high capacity/illegal motorbike, and knocked on the rear end of the SUV. 2. The motorcyclist was offered compensation, which was not given media publicity; 3. Peculiar timing of the indictment, with general elections on the horizon.

What about the driver from the Ratwatte's??? He killed someone and got bail. Normal people cannot get that. And the victim was a Police Officer which stopped some people from robbing money from a hospital. Why this is taken so lightly and for Ranawaka it is so serious. Was it a planned killing with the promise to get free??

Do AG has backbone to reopen all pending case against Rajapaksa family including Gotabaya Rajapaksa??? It is simply a political revenge against Patali.
Joseph Friday, 10 July 2020 06:28 PM
