The Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna (JVP) today rejected media reports that the National People's Power (NPP) presidential candidate Anura Kumara Dissanayake had participated in a discussion at Temple Trees and claimed that such false news was being planted by those who were scared of a strong third force.
JVP MP Vijitha Herath said such news was planted by boot-lickers of the Rajapaksas fearing a third force and added that the NPP was a force which had a unique policy and a unique programme.
He said this in response to a question asked by the media at the election secretariat after the payment of the cash deposit on behalf of Mr. Dissanayake. (Ajith Siriwardana)
