Water cuts in Katunayake, Ja-Ela, Welisara and Gampaha

The water supply to several areas in Katunayake, Ja-Ela, Welisara and Gampaha would be disrupted due to an emergency repair of a pipeline which was damaged due to constructions of the Kadawatha Outer Circular Highway, the National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB) said.

Accordingly, water supply to Katunayake/Ja-Ela urban council area, Ja-Ela Pradeshiya Sabha area, Mabola, Welisara, Kerawalapitiya, Dickoya, Matagoda, Bopitiya, Uswetakeiyawa, Ragama, Walpola, Batuwatte, Bulugahagoda, Horape, Prison Road, Kurukulawa, Jayashrigam, Polgahahena and Boys Town would be disrupted during the repairs.

The NWSDB said it would announce the resumption of the water supply immediately.
