Visitors restricted to prisons for two weeks from tomorrow

Visitors will not be allowed into any of the prisons for two weeks from tomorrow to minimise the spread of Covid-19, Prisons Spokesman Chandana Ekanayake said.
He said that the decision was taken due to the increase in the number of Covid-19 infected people in the country.
Accordingly, the visitation of prisons inmates show will be suspended for two weeks from tomorrow (24). (Chaturanga Samarawickrama)
