UNP Muslim MPs have decided to vote against the no confidence motion that have been brought against Minister Rishad Bathiudeen.
UNP MP Mujibur Rahman told Daily Mirror that the Muslim MPs have decided to vote against the motion.
“ The motion is a meaningless one. Such motions should be brought against MP Santha Bandara who ordered the issue of copper to a factory owned by a National Thowheed Jama'ath member and others who led the bomb attacks,” he said.
Meanwhile, the solitary UPFA Muslim Member Kadar Masthan said he will abide by the party stand when it comes to the motion.( Yohan perera)
