The woman and the child who were injured in the Saindamarudu blasts at Kalmunai on Friday night had been identified as the wife and the daughter of Mohamed Zahran, the mastermind of Easter Sunday terror attacks, police said.

Police spokesman Ruwan Gunasekara said the woman Abdul Cader Fathima Sadiya and the child four year old Mohamed Zahran Ruzaina were undergoing treatment at the Ampara Base Hospital for their injuries.

He said Zahran's sister and brother-in-law had identified the two victims as the wife and the daughter of Zahran.

Fifteen people including six suicide bombers, six children and three women were killed in the Friday night explosions.

I can go to Church and read bible and worship. At the same time, I can also go to Hindu temple and worship and read Bahavad Geeta. People should develop interfaith from their childhood.
