“Consumption of traditional medicine such as Coriander which enhances immunity has resulted in the containment of the ongoing pandemic in Sri Lanka,”dr. Hendavitharana said.
“However the issue with Sri Lanka is the absence of an organised programme to make use of traditional medicine to contain the pandemic. (YOHAN PERERA)

True. Finding a drug for Corona is a uphill tusk. There will be some sort of protection by using aurvedic medicine, but doubt it can cure.

Most of Sri Lankans know and trust traditional / aurwedic medicine, no reservation what so ever about it. What we can't and don't believe is what politicas promoting in the name of traditional/aurwedic medicine.

Very true, whenever there is a local product, many are opposed to it including the very same people who are promoting these. They just oppose Dhammika Syrup without testing it. But people appear to have ignored such oppositions and are still gathering to grab a bottle. I have been taking corriender, ginger frequently and so far I have been fine although I live abroad in a city where daily cases exceed 1000 . I have also travelled twice in a very long distance flights without any issue. I am not sure what contributed to my safety so far but I would continue to take traditional medicine frequently in moderation. We need to pass this time with whatever possible.
