Three suspects have been arrested with a stock of 18,725 kilos of refuse tea when it was being transported in there lorries in Mawanella.
The Special Task Force (STF) carried out the raid following a tip-off received to ASP Kamal Fernando on Saturday.
Investigations revealed that the refuse tea stock being transported to Peliyagoda area to be imported.
The suspects aged 37 and 46 were identified as residents of Welambada and Handessa.
