The daily COVID-19 cases reported within a district in a single day has surpassed the 1,000 mark for the first time as 1,004 COVID-19 patients were reported in the Gampaha District yesterday.
The National Operation Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO) said the Colombo district recorded a total of 501 COVID positive cases.

This is no surprise! The government allows those women slaves working in garment factories who are in very close contact with each other to continue work during the lockdown. The garment factories should be closed until all of the employees are vaccinated. Is this so hard to understand?
