Between 6 and 7AM, there is no road discipline from Homagama to Havelock town. Even at Maharagama town, passing clock tower, scant respect is given to "one way," some times by police personal. During school days chauffeur driven Army vehicles supersede private bus drivers.

The Police turns a blind eye most of the time. They should have plainclothes men to nab these drivers speeding and overtaking. Nothing in this country is done to stop this highway terrorism - It is simple to eradicate this. Iron fist enforcement required. This happens a lot on High Level Road, Piliyandala Dutugemunu Road and R A De Mel Mawatha near Dickmans Road. But Police are not nabbing them.

The cops turn a blind eye to the gross road violations by these monstrous bus drivers, innocents have to suffer everyday. Time to take the law into our own hands and deal with these pigs who won't let any motorist drive on our roads in peace

The article says at the flyover and not on it, unless of course magically there happened to be a bus on it, my condolence go out to the family of the soldier who lost his life due to this collision, and a speedy recovery to all who were injured.

The Sri Lanka army definitely has no manners and road discipline and the authorities have to look into this as the army officers and their drivers have a nasty attitude.
