Soldier electrocuted in Sigiriya

A soldier attached to the Inamaluwa Army Camp in Sigiriya was killed due to an electrocution last evening, police said.

They said the 23--year-old soldier was admitted to the Dambulla Hospital after he was electrocuted while working in the camp.

The deceased, identified as Asanka Udaya Kumara, a resident of Uwa Paranagama,

The Sigiriya Police are investigating.
