Seven more succumb to COVID-19: Toll mounts to 297

Seven more COVID-19 related deaths were reported today surging the total death toll in the country to 297, the Government Information Department said. Accordingly, an 86-year-old male from Colombo 6, a 73-year-old male from Nittambuwa, a 76-year-old female from Ratnapura, a 61-year-old male from Colombo 13, a 61-year-old male inmate from the Colombo Remand Prison, a 67-year-old female from Colombo 6 and a 62-year-old male from Enderamulla passed away from the virus.
