Leave of all Sri Lanka Transport Board (SLTB) workers including bus drivers, conductors and technical staff have been cancelled due to the planned Inter-Provincial bus strike on Monday (8) night, SLTB Chairman Kingsley Ranawaka said.
He said the decision was taken to minimize the inconvenience caused to the public due to the sudden countrywide strike by the private transport bus operators.
However, he said the SLTB has planned to increase the number of buses for the convenience of the passengers. (Chaturanga Samarawickrama)
