Traders at Hatton today claimed that they could provide the Rs.1, 000 worth Government approved Sathosa relief package at just Rs.950 for their consumers.
They claimed that they could provide a better package with good quality products than the Sathosa outlets.
Accordingly, the Sathosa relief package includes essential food items such as rice, flour, sugar, dhal, and sprats.
Subject Minister Bandula Gunawardana earlier claimed that the decision was taken to make this year prosperous and reduce the people's hardships.
Hatton traders said that they would provide essential items such as one TVP Soya packet (Rs.25), 100g, Chili packet (Rs.70), salt packet (Rs.40), 1Kg wheat flour (Rs.83), 200g sprats (Rs.95), 1kg of white rice (Rs.93), 1Kg dhal (Masoor Rs.165), 1Kg sugar (Rs.108), 1Kg red rice (Rs.93), 1Kg of rice (Rs.96) and Rs.12 worth masks.
